ABOUT THE ROLE
The Residential Leasing Associate will be a front-facing representative of the STACK brand while also working behind the scenes to deliver every element of our residential rental program.
They will report directly to the Vice President and will be responsible for providing our clients and residents with a best-in-class experience in all aspects related to their investment property or residency at any STACK managed rental home.
The Leasing Associate will be working closely alongside Rental-Home Owners, STACK Leasing and Operations Team, and STACK Executive team.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Relations and Guest Service Excellence
- Resident Relations and Guest Service Excellence
- Promote our property management services to prospective clients
- Show available units to prospective tenants
- Keep all ads up-to-date on various listing websites
- Conduct thorough screenings of all applicants to ensure they meet our requirements
- Collect and process rental applications, security deposits, and first month’s rent
- Prepare and execute tenancy documents
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections when required
- Respond to all prospective tenant inquiries promptly and professionally
- Emails, reports, and updates to Vice President
- Ensure all processes and administrative procedures are followed consistently, completely and accurately
- Support and maintain all company policies and procedures regarding property operations
- Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of each property within the assigned portfolio
- Assist Property Management Team when time allows
- Assist Vice President in any assigned tasks
- Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Able to conduct client and tenant relations through Guest Service Excellence
- Possess a self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented mindset, while also being personable, professional, and positive
- Demonstrate a proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks, with the ability to multi-task and follow-up on items and issues as needed
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills are necessary for the position
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to deal with confrontation and maintain objectivity and professionalism in public relations
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required, specifically in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Required Training and Experience
- Possess 2+ years of work experience as a Residential Leasing or Sales Associate
- Possess a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Have obtained either a Property Management License or Real Estate Trading License through the Financial Services Authority of British Columbia (BCFSA)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours: Saturday – Wednesday | 11AM – 6PM
Salary Range: $50-60k + Bonus + Commission per deal ($200 – $300)
This is a full-time position to be filled by April 15, 2024.
