Guest Experience Ambassadors provide friendly, professional support throughout the centre, ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and supported from arrival through their visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Holiday Season, Ambassadors will play an integral role in delivering the Santa Experience, supporting a variety of program operations, including guest check-in, assisting Santa and the photography team, onsite photo printing, programming, guest \ufb02ow, and holiday activities. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires \ufb02exibility, teamwork, fast learning, strong attention to detail, and a genuine ability to create positive experiences for children and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Primary Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the Guest Experience Team Lead and Photography Team in delivering the Santa Experience Program, including welcoming guests, managing appointment check-ins, operating onsite photo printing, and supporting the execution of events and programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the Marketing Team to set up, maintain, and dismantle the complete Santa Experience, ensuring all decor, signage, guest areas, and programming spaces are prepared to deliver a festive, welcoming, and engaging experience for guests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain the Santa Experience space to a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share observations and feedback with the Guest Experience Team Lead to help identify successes, address challenges, and improve the overall Santa Experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as a Deerfoot City Ambassador by staying informed on centre events, programming, retailers, and amenities, and providing guests with accurate, timely, and helpful information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide professional customer support and effectively manage inquiries and concerns through phone, email, and in-person interactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to scheduled shifts and program responsibilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills, with the \ufb02exibility to seamlessly transition between roles and tasks to support a smooth and welcoming guest experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable using technology with the ability to quickly learn and use computers, booking systems, printers, and other program technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team-oriented and dependable, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute wherever needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse range of audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Required Training and Experience<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 1-2 year of experience in a customer-facing role preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous retail, hospitality, recreation, events, or guest experience is an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with children and families is an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with strong computer, typing, and digital skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience using point-of-sale systems, booking platforms, printers, cameras, or other customer-facing technology is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Working Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with shifts scheduled across daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
