ABOUT DESTINATION: DEERFOOT CITY
Deerfoot City is a master-planned retail destination which is currently under redevelopment. The 1.1 million sq. foot transformation will include purposefully designed shopping, dining, and entertainment zones. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the face of the Destination: Deerfoot City brand, the Guest Experience team plays a vital role in creating memorable holiday moments for our visitors. Guest Experience Ambassadors ensure every guest feels welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive on site to the time they visit our retailers, restaurants, and services. During the Holiday Season, Ambassadors will play a key role in delivering the Santa Photo Program, delighting guests, and capturing the magic of the season.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Support the Guest Experience Team Lead and Photography team in the execution of the Santa Photo Program, including greeting and welcoming guests, appointment check-ins, onsite photo printing, and distribution of surprise-and-delight items (e.g., candy canes)
- Manage and navigate the online reservation system for Santa photo appointments
- Assist the marketing team in setting up, taking down, and creating a festive, engaging environment that highlights the magic of Santa and attracts both new and returning guests
- Maintain the Santa Experience to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Provide feedback to the Guest Experience Team Lead on successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement within the Santa Photo Program
- Act as an Ambassador by staying informed on all centre events and programming and sharing information with guests
- Answer and respond to internal and external calls, texts, and emails in a professional and timely manner
- Receive and address guest questions, concerns, and feedback with care and professionalism
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal ownership
- Energetic and positive, able to create a welcoming environment for both guests and team members
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Required Training and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
- Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
Working Conditions
- Hourly wage: $16.00-17.00/hour
- Start and End Date: October 20, 2025 – January 9, 2026
