ABOUT THE ROLE
The Concierge at The City of Lougheed Private Amenity Centre will be the front-facing representative of the SHAPE brand while also working behind the scenes to deliver every element of our management program. They will be working in a private three level amenity facility that services the surrounding towers located at The City of Lougheed. The Amenity Centre includes a 6,000 SF state-of-the art fitness facility, hotel style guest suites, arcade room, and multiple private kitchens and rooms. The Concierge (Evening) will report directly to the Head Concierge and Sr. Property Manager and will assist in the on-site management at one of Canada’s most exciting projects.
The Concierge will be working closely alongside the Head Concierge, Sr. Property Manager, Vice President, Security and Janitorial Cleaning Staff.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for activities and operations of the Amenity Centre
- Resident Relations and Guest Service Excellence
- Arrange for cleaning of building and premises, including Amenities, Lobby, and Common Areas.
- Arrange for repairs of building and premises, including Amenities, Lobby, and Common Areas.
- Maintain accurate records of amenity bookings, booking fees, and refunds.
- Maintain a strong and positive presence at the Concierge Desk
- Responsible for amenity bookings, booking follow-ups, and amenity check-ins/check-outs/turnovers.
- Answer any and all inquiries made by residents in a polite and professional manner
- Assist Head Concierge and Sr. Property Manager where assigned
- Enforcing building, amenity, and tenancy bylaws in a firm and professional manner
- Inspection, Patrols and Security of premises
- Coordination of Deficiency Repairs
- FOB programming and Audits
- Showing of bookable amenities to inquiring residents
- Emails, reports, and updates to Head Concierge, Sr. Property Manager, and Vice President
- Ensure all processes and administrative procedures are followed consistently, completely and accurately.
- Receive and keep accurate records and documentation including incident reports, daily activity reports, etc.
- Provide a world-class experience to all guests.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to conduct tenant relations through Guest Service Excellence
- Self-motivated, Proactive, and a Team Mindset
- Personable and positive in every situation
- Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
- Outgoing with strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Multi-lingual would be an asset)
- Ability to deal with confrontation and maintain objectivity in public relations
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, but specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Required Training and Experience
- 2+ years’ work experience in a Guest Service position would be an asset
Working Conditions
Expected Start Date: November 25 – December 2
Hours: Monday – Friday | 3:30PM – Midnight
Salary Range: $45,000–50,000/year
