ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head Concierge at The Amazing Brentwood Tower ONE Rental Homes will be the front-facing representative of the SHAPE brand while also working behind the scenes to deliver every element of our residential rental program. They will report directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager and will assist in the on-site management of 300 luxury rental homes at one of Canada’s most exciting projects.

The Head Concierge will be working closely alongside the Resident Manager, Property Manager, Janitorial and Security Staff, and on-site tradespeople.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for activities and operations of the Concierge Department
  • Manage, train, and Supervise Concierge staff
  • Tenant Relations and Guest Service Excellence
  • Receive and Dispense Parcels at Concierge Desk
  • Arrange for cleaning of building and premises, including Amenities, Lobby, Parkade, Garbage Room, Guest Suites, and Common Areas
  • Maintain a strong and positive presence within the tower
  • Responsible for amenity bookings, booking follow-ups, and amenity turnovers
  • Answer any and all inquiries made by residents in a polite and professional manner
  • Assist with the Coordination of tenant move-ins and move-outs
  • Assist Resident Manager and Property Manager where assigned
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere and experience at the Concierge Desk
  • Enforcing building, amenity, and tenancy bylaws in a firm and professional manner
  • Assist with the posting and delivery of notices to tenants as required and as per the RTA
  • Inspection and Security of premises
  • Service Requests: Coordination of repairs, trades, unit access, etc.
  • Light/Spot Cleaning, if required
  • Emails, reports, and updates to Vice President of Residential Management, Property Manager, and Resident Manager
  • Ensure all processes and administrative procedures are followed consistently, completely and accurately
  • Receive and keep accurate records and documentation including incident reports, daily activity reports, etc.
  • Fob Programming and Audits
  • Parking, Storage, and Bike Locker Audits
  • Provide a world-class experience to all guests and prospective tenants
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to conduct tenant relations through Guest Service Excellence
  • Self-motivated, Proactive, and a Team Mindset
  • Personable and positive in every situation
  • Detail oriented, works well under pressure, capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines
  • Outgoing with strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Multi-lingual would be an asset)
  • Ability to deal with confrontation and maintain objectivity in public relations
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, but specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team

Required Training and Experience

  • 2+ years’ work experience in a similar position would be an asset

Working Conditions

This is a Full-Time position to be filled by June 1, 2024.

HOURS: Monday – Friday | 8AM – 4:30PM

Salary Range: $50,000-55,000/year
